Sector Skills Assessments (SSAs) - Skills priorities for the Automotive Retail Sector
This suite of research reports on the current and future skill priorities for the sector in the UK and its constituent nations. The priorities draw on research undertaken by the IMI and a range of secondary sources and looks at what drives skills demand, what the current skills needs are and what the future of the sector might look like.
One of the current key skills priorities is the quality of managers and leaders in the sector in general needs improvement. Having good strategic and visionary managers is key to enabling the sector to successfully emerge from the economic crisis.
